Guided curriculum
Learn path
Build analysis skill step by step. Pass each core-path quiz on the server to unlock the next. Finish Capstone for a publicly verifiable certificate, then optional Advanced tracks.
Start without an account
Foundations lessons and quiz are open to guests. Match Analysis, Concepts, and the Glossary are fully public. An account is only needed to save progress, unlock later levels, and earn a certificate.
StarkPitch is free and non-commercial — no products or subscriptions for sale.
Start with Foundations (open to guests). Later levels stay locked until you pass each server-graded quiz while signed in. Preview locked levels anytime.
-
Foundations
…Event data basics, xG as a shot-quality estimate — not a verdict on the result — and careful shot-map reading.
Open → -
Core Ideas
…Pass networks, progressive passes (completed passes that gain ground), PPDA as a press proxy — not a fitness ranking — plus heatmaps and average positions.
Open → -
Applications
…Write a short report the file can support. Separate process from the scoreline. Name what event data cannot prove.
Open → -
Capstone
…Analyse one open-data match end-to-end. Separate process from the scoreline. State what event data still cannot prove. Higher pass threshold than Applications.

Phase 2
Advanced tracks (after Capstone)
Optional tracks after the certificate path. Possession Value and Match Phases can be read in either order. Lesson bodies are public; quizzes unlock after you pass Capstone while signed in. They sit beside eight Match Analysis teaching fixtures that use xG Timeline, Half, and Transition modules.
These two tracks are the newest addition to Learn. They stay free, like the rest of the path, and they do not replace Foundations through Capstone. The eight Match Analysis fixtures use the same xG Timeline, Half, and Transition modules as practice.
Possession Value
…Why xG is not enough. xT estimates threat from location and action — not a verdict on the result. Separate action value from shot value.
Open →Match Phases
…Recoveries, settled vs broken possession, and halves as a process split — not a fatigue table. Do not write a story event data cannot support.
